This is so sweet to have Albert have his very own "blog"! We were so happy to see this little girl who cared so much know just who to call, Bill for Action! Poor helpless little guy,,,,we are so happy you found a great way to rescue him and now he's on his way to getting well. Thank you Bill once again for coming to the rescue!!! I am a huge animal lover, domestic and wild and was so pleased to see this young girl, the community and of course you come to Albert's rescue.
You said earlier today that Albert was a domestic duck. It's unfortunate that whoever had him let him go to fend for himself.
Take care Albert. I'll be tracking your progress.
Thank you to all of those also that are continuing to care for Albert!!!!

I was so very upset when I saw the poor duck so near death. I was frustrated that I was so far away and not able to help. I was elated when Albert was plucked from the ice and a certain, cruel death. God bless you, Bill Spencer, for taking the time to care and organize a rescue for the duck. It means so much to me that you cared enough to save Albert.

Kudos to everyone who made an effort to help this duck! Special thanks for the rehabber who took Albert in even though he wasnt wild : )

Easter is a bad time a year for ducks, chicks and rabbits. Many people purchase them without the intention of keeping them long term. They are then abondoned and left to die without the skills to survive in the wild. Our website has a placement board where people can adopt ducks like Albert that have been abondoned they can also post ducks they have needing homes.
