A ferris wheel at a park improves the life of the kids in Detroit??? What about food and a warm home? What about warm clothes and boots? What about not hearing gun shots during the night, seeing neighbors and friends murdered? You think like Kwame, where are the priorities for the kids of Detroit? The mayors kids aren't suffering from low income.

I would think that civic leaders who were a good role model would be much better for the kids then a ferris wheel.

Kwame did wrong; lots of politicians do... Most have the balls to admit it, and don't waste taxpayer money to cover it up. The prosecutor said it, and I'm more than willing to say it. This isn't about sex, it's about wasting all of our time and not being honest.

Seriously.. how is somebody in his situation really going to improve the city. People certainly aren't going to line up to give him control of money. The biggest thing he can do to improve the city is resign, and drop off the public radar.

I agree he just can't be trusted. I hope those 2 officers in the whistle blower case "Partied like Rock Stars" Monday. Good for the Few Good Men that are left. You deserve evrey $$$$$$. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!

Mrs. Shirley Burch,I'm so upset at you for the comment you made about a " Ferris Wheel" for the kids.
Now I really thought you were more interested in Our City than a "Ferris wheel".
I know you had a lot to do with the Dad Butler Park at the Belmont Shopping Center, But,that dosen't give to the kids what they need,either.
That $500,000.00 or so cld have fed and clothes a lot of Kids in the Northeast area. All I see is Foot Ball practice going on there.
I know you drive the School Bus for School kids..I know you attended Elmentary School in Detroit,so you've been here more than 40yrs.cuz,you're in you're 60 + some. and if you're going to put a Trophy on someone,plzeee,give them some good Credit..that shows if you were in Office what you would focus on.
Be careful what you say,cuz, this is a small world and you never know who's looking,reading,etc.
Some Members of the Community Relations is surprised you would make such a statement.
So Plzeeeeee tell the truth and then no one can come back on you.
I'm GLAD you're not in Office,either.
Praying for you.and I still Love you,but, had to comment on your statement.
