The Relay for Life is American Cancer Society"s signature activity, empoweing and fun way to make a difference in the fight against cancer.  Team members take turns walking around the track while others are free to socialize, picnic, play games, dance or participate in planned activities.  There are two (2) highlights of the Relay for Life. The first is the first lap around the track by cancer survivors of all ages, cheered on by family and friends.  The second is the liting of the luminarias at 10:00PM on Sat.  These luninarias are designated by the donor to recognize a person who is a survivor against cancer and/or to remember those who lost their fight against cancer.  A very moving experience!!  In 2007 (first year held in Clawson) $16,000.00 was raised and this years goal for 2008 is $35,000.00.  PLEASE come join the fun and help us surpass our goal.
