Lolly Ella Jewelry and Buddha Belly Maternity will donate a percentage of all sales on Saturday, May 10th to Abigayle’s Place as part of the group’s annual Mother’s Day Event. On Saturday May 10, 2008 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m, Lolly Ella Jewelry and Buddha Belly Maternity will host an open house at their West Bloomfield Plaza locations, collecting donated items to support expecting mothers in need. Each store will also offer a free gift to shoppers making purchases over $50.
 
Requested items for donations include baby monitors, baby/toddler clothing and shoes (sizes newborn – 2T), bakeware, bedding, personal-care items, prepaid phone cards, women’s coats, socks, underwear, robes, gloves, scarves (sizes 8 - 16). Donations will be accepted date of event, but not required.
 
Founded in 1997, Abigayle’s Place is a private non-profit organization that provides shelter for expecting women who have no place to go. Its mission is to provide more than a shelter, they also help the women prepare for their futures and hope to move them out of risky lifestyles.
 
Lolly Ella Jewelry is focused on selling fashion forward costume jewelry at affordable prices for all age ranges. The majority of the Jewelry is under $30.  (248-851-3325)
