GLDDET:
To meemeemy:
A sentence is a significant portion of speech. Some parts of which have an independant meaning. That is to say, as an utterance. Though not as the expression of any positive judgement. Every sentence has meaning. Not as being the natural, means by which a physical faculty is realized. But, as we have said, by convention.
Yet every sentence is not a proposition; only such are propositions as have in them either truth, or falsity. Thus a prayer is a sentence, but is neither true, nor false. Let us therefore dismiss all other types of sentence but the proposition. For this last concerns our present inquiry. Whereas the investigation of others belongs rather to the study of rhetoric, or of poetry. (Aristotle 350 B.C.)
Sociopath n. A psycopath exhitbiting aggressive antisocial behavior.
That is just one definition in the dictionary. And I don't feel like attempting to research the clinical definitions. Name calling doesn't make anything go away. For whatever your reasons are to justify that you don't like Kilpatrick, and what he did we get it. And crucifiction from the Poll Of Public Opinion rarely solves a circumstance. All it is, is a different way to vent frustration over the issue. And the quote by Aristotle was just to show that problems of today have been here long before we had to deal with them. A problem is a problem no matter when the time is. Kilpatrick isn't the first elected offical in power over the City of Detroit who has made transgressions. So stop acting like it.
Sorry folks I can’t pass this one up. I am constantly astounded at how insensitive and downright cruel people are at times. Are you trying to impress everyone with your knowledge or something? Honestly if you just talked like a real person and relaxed you would make more sense. There are words for people like this… Gee can you help me? As my Mother would say, she’s passed away so don’t go there, get off your high horse and put your feet back on the ground. You ain’t no better than anyone else here!!!!

Re: Karmanos speaks because he probably attended the monoogian ORGY
meemeemy:
We can certainly expect to hear the karmanos name come up in the text messages . . . What happened karmanos did they film your participation in the ORGY unbeknownst to you, and you just found out? Of course they did, that's what the ORGY was all about; LEVERAGE -- to get people to do what they wanted them to do -- through blackmail. That's why they invited the Southfield police chief.
This idiot fool had the plan down from day one, mommy and daddy schooled him, and told him exactly what to do – have an ORGY and film it, then they can control everybody and the stupid gangster family rules forever . . . but here comes the X Factor Carlita with bat in tow. Now the plan is just a wee bit messed up. These are STUPID PEOPLE!
And incidentally, based on kwame’s desperation, I would not be surprised to hear that he got a gun and started shooting people – this boy is a sociopath and has always been one. Look at how much weight he has lost – it’s because he is scared out of his wits, not to mention the fact that his irritable bowel syndrome is literally kicking his ass, isn’t that right kwame? It won’t be long before you’re going to need to keep some Depends (adult diapers) with you.
And good for you.
It would not be far fetched if KK did have a secret camera at the party just so he would have something on everyone in case he ever needed to get his way w/ them.

Thank you Kathy! I did not understand a word of that. Maybe it would have helped if it had been written in big red letters, but I doubt it.
Gliddet
We usually speak in informal and easy to understand ways. No one is here to impress anyone with how convoluted their sentences can be. We share information, ask each other questions, and (speaking ONLY for myself) I am often frequently and inadvertently impressed with the knowledge of the other people on the forum.
Name calling, as you say, most decidedly does not make anything go away. Neither does saying that problems have been around as long as Aristotle. Recognizing that there is a problem and then taking steps to corrct the problem, however, is important. Perhaps we are too plebian for you.

To Kathy 1007:
If you were to take your robe off your honour, maybe you can see that I'm not on anybody's side. But, no matter how many times you attack me, it just solidifies what I was trying to express in the first place. And whether you like it, or not. I do have the right to voice MY OPINION just like you do. At least I AM a resident of Detroit. Just because some can take language to different levels unlike yourself doesn't mean they think they are better than you. But, I forget that sometimes people who have had things handed to them, instead of having to work for it react differently. So that only shows that we are different, it doesn't mean that either of us is going to take over the world when we speak.
I will give you (2) two dates that can explain why I am the way I am, and I am absolutely positive that they will mean nothing to you. July 2, 1964, and August 6, 1965 two very significant days for some in this Country. And I will NEVER be sorry that I did a lot more than occupy my seat when I attended school. The only reason why you are astounded by insensitivity, and cruelty is when it isn't by you, or so you think everyone else is trying to show you up. News flash there are some who don't want to be in your sorority, or fraternity whichever way it applies. Oh, and by the way what makes you think that you have to be impressed with anything I say ???

Re: Karmanos speaks BOYCOTT
IrishIndian: meemeemy:
BOYCOTT ALL THE BUSINESSES IN THE COMPUWARE BUILDING, and let his corporate peers deal with him.
Kinkos, Hard Rock, Border's Books, all of them corporate and local.
Hope you all don't mind me bringing this forward as I'm trying to catch up. I have said this for months about boycotting Detroit. There is a lot in Detroit I have wanted to do, and still want to do this summer. BUT I WON'T SPEND ONE PENNY IN DETROIT, until the Manoogian and the City Clowncill is cleaned up. I am holding out on this one, be it a game, festival, or whatever I miss. No donations

Indytf: tantra: Tushana: tantra:
I am thinking Gene had Lana Stempien, Chick Rutherford and Tamara Greene killed. I think Gene, and his massive knowledge, rational and education are just way too much for the FBI.
A long way? A monkey could be trained in less time to change the font and color for the love of God.
I asked, politely for the 68pt font, BOLD, and red to not be used, because it hurt my eyes. So, I guess this is Old Gene's way of saying f u.
And you people encourage him. So much for mature adults posting on a message board. I have ignored it for days, and none of you have a problem with Gene being so obviously, obnoxious with intent so... I am done ignore his ignorance.
Too bad Old Gene was't driving westbound on 94 this afternoon... could have eased the drain on the Big 3 welfare system. It is encouraging that at least he has a job that matches his intellect, wouldn't want him around other humans. Mowing grass is probably pushing his intellect as it is.
Use as big of a font as you want Gene. No doubt it is in response to your "Napolean Complex".
Tantra:
Making a reference to the accident in the manner you referenced it is an example of an individual who lacks human compassion.
Tushana
You are absolutely correct Tushana... I have no compassion for ignorance, specifically, willful ignorance. Gene has propelled this. Gene CHOSE to continue, and pollute this board with his willful disregard, and redundant, uninformed words. Keep dishing for him. I really could careless who likes it, who doesn't. I stopped responding to Gene and obviously, Gene missed it because he has gone above and beyond trying to get a response from me. So now, he's got it.
Frankly, Gene offers nothing to my world. Maybe if he cut my grass, I would feel differently. Since he doesn't, and since he has gone out of his way to make certain that we all know that he is a bigot, and a racist, and blames everyone but himself for his place in the world, he is useless to me. He is a drain on the system and the fewer of them, the better.
I don't care if you all don't like it, I am not going anywhere, and I am not going to stop this time. It didn't work last time, so why should I?
I have as much right to my opinion, just because I don't agree with everyone doesn't make me wrong. How interesting is it that this forum seems to attack anyone that doesn't agree with them? I don't agree with half the people that post... doesn't mean that they are wrong and I am right. I never want my world to consist of only people that agree with my every thought... how stagnant. Maybe that's the problem.
Tantra
As always I respect your opinion and your right to share it, as you know, we have had our own chats and discussions and sometimes we agree, sometimes we dont. That is HUMAN nature and it is part of what drives all of us.
However, the constant fighting on this board drives me NUTS!!!!, it has become a soap opera(albeit one in which some genuine facts and information is shared).
I am not writting this to defend Gene, I am sure at 70 yrs old, he can handle some criticism, but why cut down the man for his job?..........at least he is earning an honest paycheck, which is a lot more than I can say for other residents of Detroit(sorry in ADVANCE to ALL of you HARD WORKING Detroit residents, Taxpayer and Laura56 among them)
There happen to be many things I disagree with on this forum, as with ALL forums, but I simply choose to IGNORE much of it, while in some cases it DEMANDS a response(if I am named or attacked personally) but even in those cases where it "demands" a response, as Taxpayer stated, it would be better for ALL parties if this were done thru private contact and OUTSIDE of this forum.
I enjoy debating about KK & Co., and I enjoy debating the law(I love your input Laura56), but I simply cannot handle this constant bickering back and forth IN forum...............Please, do it privately
To you Gene, hey, you are somewhat of an ICON here, but please dont PURPOSELY upset anyone on the forum either................The Beattles once sung "We can work this out" and I believe Rodney King uttered the Infamous line of "Can't we all just get along"..............................come on peple, lets show some civility IN FORUM, and lets stop this soap opera.
Tantra, you are FULL of GREAT information, you provide insite to this FORUM as well, but lets please get along in FORUM, ignore what you dont like. Hell, I would go CRAZY if I tried to respond to everything I disagree with
Sorry for the rant, just something I needed to say. Very nice

Ok Friends last pissing reply here, one I was born on August 6 and for that I am proud, it is a very distinguished date in history.
I have no idea what its like to have anything handed to me. Oh wait, when we were small kids we received food and clothes from St Vincent De Paul (if you know what that is) and there were times when My mom placed us with friends for a few weeks at a time. God bless her heart, she called it loaning us out to her childless friends so they new the Joy of having children, because of a DEADBEAT DAD WHO TOOK OFF ON HER AND 4 KIDS, so she worked 2 jobs and lived in the family Falcon car, I think it was power blue. She wanted to make sure we were safe and received nutritious food because if you think shelters are rough now you have no idea what it was back then. There are a lot of stories and I apologize to people here for being so off subject and getting so caught up in such childishness. You can always find similarities somewhere if you look,You are like Kwame, Kwame does not give a Damn for ANYONE other than those who can do for him and YOU GLDDET are a lot like him. So I expect you to tear this post apart because you’re that lacking in any kind of basic kindness and I feel sorry for people like you because it must be very lonely at the bottom.. Me I kind of like whom I am! I wish you luck! I really do hope you find some kind of peace for your troubled soul.

If there wasn't any humor in this, I wouldn't waste the words. I still say I will NEVER apologize for being who I am today. Considering in the Philosophy class I took in college happened to stick my education didn't go to waste with that class. So what if you don't understand ANYTHING I say. Who knows, maybe you weren't meant to. So whether you care to admit it, or not it's really not important. I am, and can be just a common as the next person. But, since some are DEAD set in making me someone that I'm not, that goes to show how limited your thought process truly is. And if my statements are too complex, you always have the option to leave them be.

Me I kind of like whom I am! I wish you luck! I really do hope you find some kind of peace for your troubled soul.
And this is MY last reply. It's not my fault that life made you bitter. I'm not going to continue engaging you and your faction in this manner. I was blessed to have both my parents through my childhood, and they remained together until her death in 1987. I am the youngest of the 5 children my Dad had. So I didn't have to wear hand me downs, that's not my fault that I had two parents who worked, and they BOTH took care of their children.
It sounds more like to ME that YOU are the troubled soul, not me. Because anytime the biggest comeback is "You think you're so" that only means the inadequacy is deeply rooted in the accuser. Like I said I have learned how not to take any of this personally. Opinions are just that opinions, yet anytime someone chooses to give their dissertation on someone that they don't even know. And because they don't agree with YOU the're trying to be something that you can't. And contrary to what you may think with all the turmoil going on in the Country during the 50's and the 60's my parents made sure I was a happy and well adjusted child.
And as far as the similarity goes for myself and Kilpatrick is we both had Black Moms, and Dads, and we both graduted High School and went to college. As I said before since some of you think I'm a woman that goes to show how well your thoughts of perception goes. And yet again, that is neither here, nor there. Life isn't a personality contest, being a kid from the East Side of Detroit I know I turned out very well. And I'm always going to be proud of that. But, that "Just Because" Rule that people think they get to use whenever it's convienent You should give that up "simply because" if you limit your thoughts to things just being one way until they apply to you.
Whatever you think you went through I can assure is nothing compared to what I went through to get to where I am today. I could have just as easily given up on myself, but I didn't. My Dad had a Third Grade education, and my Mom graduated from High School. So it was instilled in me to educate myself so I can be an asset to society, and not a liability. My Dad passed away in 2004 one of the few things he said to me before he died, as did my Mom that they were proud of me and what I have become. I don't have to explain myself to any one for any reason. Like I said before, I don't walk on water, I am not a Saint, and I certainly can't turn water into wine. One thing I am certain, I AM a good Grandpa, a good Dad, And a good Man. And if I died tonight, a piece of me lives on in how I lived my life. So if you ain't down with that, that's your business.
