What an incredible day of news. Unfortunately, I missed it all because my dad broke his hip and I've been at the hospital all day. (Dad's fine, just in a lot of pain.)

Of course, I missed the bond hearing. WTF.....was up with that? Now he can even travel out of the country?  When I saw the story tonight on the channel 7 video player I couldn't believe it. But of course, Judge Humphries is the same one that CB went before last week and we all know how that turned out. When I found out she was the judge, I knew the outcome wouldn't be good.

And of course, let's not forget Monica Conyers. Unbelievable. She is completely out of control. What an outrage at the hearing today. Does anyone know if there are provisions in the city charter to have her removed from office? Or does that have to wait until the next election?

I see our friend (not) "moveon" has posted many times today. I will no longer respond to them and the other idiot that was driving me crazy last night either. They are not worth it. My blood was boiling,  Kathy was concerned that I was going to have a heart attack, and I find that I won't let them get to me. "Misterbluebird" can take care of them, if he's still around? I will no longer waste my time.

I'm with you Kathy, "moveon" can do just that, and take that other crazy person that was posting last night with you.

Why shouldn't he be allowed to leave the state?  When was telling a Lie commenced to a punishment as such ?  Heck, they don't even do the REAL Criminals that way,  as far as the Murder until he's charged it shouldn't be held against him.  And don't get me wrong if anyone commits such crimes as murder, rape, etc., YES they should be punished, my question is why is this just coming up ?  If they had so much evidence don't you think he would be arressted by now ?  Don't be naive.  I wish all of the Haters directed their energy into these criminals on the streets they see everyday, why doesn't the media go on the "Block" and tape these little durg dealers out here selling, etc., it's very visible, why not ? The Mayor irregardless of what he does in his PERSONAL LIFE has done wonders for the City, has everyone forgot that ?  All of you need to get a LIFE and fight bigger battles, I'm tired of hearing about him.  Maybe the media can check Bush's text messages and hinder him from sending Billions of dollars over to a country we shouldn't be in, this country here needs help an he's worried about them, and as fas as money, worry about how much the White House is spending, hell he was so inconsiderate for the U.S. after 911 he proceeded to throw a Party in his Honor of course, and what about the folks in New Orleans still living in Trailers ?  Come on people fight a bigger battle, something worthy, Kwame is Human and had an affair and lied about it, More than half of the haters probably cheated and still are and has lied about it and still lying.  How many of you resigned ?

Monica took an early break and afterwards that's when the madness got started.  It started as a delay tactic.  She did not like what Mr. Edwards was saying and so she tried to stop the meeting.  She must have a real problem abusing something. She needs to resign NOW! The other council members should try to get her recalled and she can have M. Reeves  lead the way.  They can hold hands.

I am right with you.... I unfortunately can't sell what I have either.  There are NO jobs left.  Nobody wants to come here either.  Can't say I blame them.  I will stay out of Detroit; boycott it completely.  I used to work downtown; thank God I don't do that anymore.  If this sh$$ keeps up; no one will be around to pay taxes in downtown Detroit ( at least ones that would be able too; everyone is so poor there; much like the rest of the state).  The suburbs will have to pick up the rest.  That is where everyone who says this is only a city matter is wrong; Detroit and the rest of the state are completely connected.  You would have to be stupid not to see that.  As far as the casinos, who really does have the extra money to go and play; not your average joe who has to decide on whether or not to pay the gas, food, or medication ( I believe many of the Detroiters as well as suburbanites fit this category). 

Lastly, since when is Detroit considered a huge metropolitan city?  Someone correct me if I am wrong( go ahead and post something move on or the other pro kk idiots because I don't even take the time to read your sh$$), but isn't detroit right at one million or below.  Believe me, one million a big city does not make.  Portland oregon has three million and Manhattan a lot more.  What would be the reason for kk to leave the country on business????  I can see it now, going to the bahamas for city business; I SWEAR ON MY WORD!!!!  It's not that I think he is a flight risk; Lord knows it is quite the opposite, where else would he be able to go and live like he is.  He loves it here!  I just hate to see more tax payor money going for his pleasure only while he can just "write it off as city business".  Seen this too many times in professional, public, and personal relations.  This would go for any politician.  Believe me, when something is made public and known about criminal, unethical activities by politicians, I am the first to call for them to get out of office.  He##, I think we should go back to what our founding fathers did when our country first developed;take turns serving in congress; get compensated for your time and then go back to your job.  I don't think the founding fathers intended for congressional duties to be a life long or full time year long job. 

 

 

 

• Occording to city of detroit website monica conyers web page states the following credentials, it does not state that she passed the bar in any state. So for her being a lawyer it is still not clear is she has a law license or is able to practice law in the state of michigan.
