Steve your reports have been right up there I believe you to be A genius in your investigations and reports. You sure do not give up, and you keep the state of Michigan informed, of all the dirt swept under the rugs in the city. This mayor is crooked and his private jet trips are just another slap in the face of the struggling citizens of Detroit. This mayor can just up and jet around the country while the city struggles to over come the mess he has created. He needs to go! for good! 

Pentastar Avaition just laid off 25 workers last week. They

sighted low profits as the reason. The Mayor has no idea

that someone always has to pay.

You have done so much in exposing the truth to the people of the Detroit and Metropolitan area.  You are a true hero! Have you yourself ever thought of running for Mayor?

I pray that every news piece will not include another expense the mayor is making, being it public or private in nature.  To micromanage his private time with his family is utterly ridiculous and appears to be another beginning of a witch hunt by Mr. Wilson.  It seems as if he is saying that no other mayor or public official has ever had the ability to fly on private jets on their own private time, unless it was some unscrupulous dealing behind such.  To suggest that just because Mayor Kilpatrick and his family travelled via private jet means that he has another scandal unleasing is pure hogwash and prejudicial in nature!  The way the media has been in Mayor Kilpatrick and his family's lives, if I were the Mayor, I would get nothing less than a private jet to get away to have some quality time with my family.  The Mayor also has friends and supporters that would not mind footing the bill if he couldn't afford it when they see the witch hunt and public humiliation his family has to endure.  Friends do that with no expectation of future reward.  Every friend or supporter does not offer assistance or gifts just for bribery or favors from you later.

Way to go Steve!  Keep on him, he needs some accountability!  His unethical practises of using our city for his own gain is despicable.  HE NEEDS TO RESIGN NOW and give the city back so it can move forward and become a great city again.  Interesting that he tuns the attention to something selse and never ackowledges that fault lies with him only spins it away to something else like it's the media, he's never to blame.  He's only sorry he got caught!  He is a crook, a liar and has no business in that position when the people of Detroit are sufferring as a result, that was easy to see back when the Escalade was uncovered.

I think the suburbs should boycott the city until he is out of office!!  I know I will not go there until that happens and know many who feel the same.

Great Job on reporting.  I wonder how come no one else is writing about the very cozy relationship between the so-called "business" leaders and KK like Mr. Wison is? Why is Edsel Ford allowing his Pentastar Co. to be giving free rides for KK's family back and forth to Florida?  It seems to me that the majority of these so-called Business leaders don't want to rock their money boat they have with KK and won't say anyhting negative about him because of THIER special interests in the City. They seem to care very little about the people of Detroit and care more about how much their relationship wiuth KK and his corrupt administration will help to line their pockets.

Apparently you don't have a clue either and are living in the dark.  Steve is great and doiing the job no one in law enforcement can do!  This mayor and his unethical practices need to be exposed...HE NEEDS TO GO!  and maybe you do too!  When you are in "public'"office your private life is public and the public needs to be aware of his wrongs doings.  Keep you head dug in the sand!!
