    Re: The Star Treatment

I emailed Oprah , gave a brief description of the situation, leaving out any names, and asked her to consider coming to Detroit, if even for a few moments to meet with these girls. I also gave her Steve Wilson's name and the WXYZ web site so she could reach him for further information.

    Re: The Star Treatment

I would like to thank Steve Wilson for bringing stories to us that we might not hear otherwise.  This Star Jones story is very upsetting.  Shame on her!  I watch her program everyday and she says she always speaks the truth.  I think she should start doing that right now.  Until she does the right thing by these girls, I will not watch her program again.  If you have an email address for her or some way that I could express how I feel, to her, I would appreciate it.

    Re: The Star Treatment

ideaperson sure has the right "idea."  Surely Steve has the contacts, etc, to forward his report to the ABC Network.  Maybe "Entertainment Tonight," "Inside Edition," and the rest of the "entertainment news" shows should pick this up.  Although, we should have seen all this coming when she was "selling tickets" to her wedding, and getting free stuff by just mentioning the name of the product on the air while at "The View."    When she lost all the weight, her brains and common sense drained out too.

    Re: The Star Treatment

I think it's funny that Star did not have time to meet some of her fans that paid for her trip to Detroit during the SBXL, but had time to rub elbows with the rich and famous at a charity fashion show the day before the big game.

    Re: The Star Treatment

I really feel sorry for those young ladies, and I truly believe in my heart that they will be re-imbursed all of ther monies...I don't think that Star Jones was a good role model for them anyways...She did not lose the weight by working out and sticking to a diet...She had surgury...In my book there would be nothing she could say that would reverse the damage that she has done, to much time has passed...

Steve Wilson does it again, exposing a big fraud

As for Star Jones...isnt she a lawyer?? then she knows whats right and wrong and when confronted POLITELY with the proof, she should have been more truthful in her answer.

She will use this for more publicity to help her court..uh truTV show that is tanking in the ratings.

She used to be someone the people could trust, now she is a typical hollywood fraud, a phoney baloney, only in it for HERSELF.

I feel sad for the little girls whose hearts she broke as well as the charity she fleeced

And Star, Steve wasnt blocking you from the door, sheesh, how much in yourself are you Star..

And remember  "Those who evade the truth when confronted with it, often have a very hard time looking in the mirror of their soul for forgiveness when they know they have wronged."

Star, those big expensive mirrors in your house must seem very dark right now when you look into them and they show the deceptions and lies that covet your soul

    Kudos to Steve Wilson!

It's fantastic to have someone like Steve Wilson report on the truth and assist those that are trying hard to help others.  She has tried desperately to rebrand herself after all the terrible publicity after getting fired from the View.  It's clear that new glasses, less makeup and a new toned down hairstyle can't hide the ugly inside that is Star Jones, attempting to take advantage of those less fortunate.

It's inexcusable that someone of Star's stature would risk her reputation (what little she has left) for $30,000.  Hopefully her management at MSNBC will take note of how this negative publicity affects her viewers perception.

Thank you Steve for doing this story and showing the country (thanks to TMZ.com and big online new portals for picking this up) what this women is really made of...it's disgusting.

    Kudos!

Re: Steve, TELL IT LIKE IT IS !!!!!

    Steve:

Let me say first that I applaud you. You are the only one with the kahunas to bring this forward to the public. Second, being a celeb sometimes makes you brainless and heartless. And apparently this is the case with Starr Jones.  I thought she had more class than this, but obviously NOT. And to think she is a ex lawyer who still belongs to the BAR and can practice being a lawyer anytime she wants. Needless to say, "I wouldn't hire her". She should have done this PRO BONO. But what can you except from these celebs? They think they are GOD.  And what's with this ritzy hotel for 3 days and lugging her husband along? LOL Well, I hope her program on CNN is cancelled soon. Anyone with any brains wouldn't watch a 2 faced hipicrate like her. Keep up the good work Steve......Your the BEST !!!!!

    Re: The Star Treatment

This STAR has fallen !!! Beauty is within and when STAR lost all the weight she lost her beauty.  That is a very high price she paid just to lose the weight that she flaunted before she had her surgery.  I think she is a phony, and she looks like a FROG!!!!

    Re: The Star Treatment

If Star wants to quote the Bible, she should be saying "The Lord helps those who help themselves", because she sure helped herself.  Shame on her!  I hope she gets the negative publicity from this that she deserves.

    Re: The Star Treatment

Steve has done it again, good for you. Ole STAR is showing her real colors. She is a disgrace to Black America, no make that all of America. I just don't understand how a celebrity can take money from these poor kids. I hope this story makes it all across America. That should but Star's career where it belongs, (in the sewer). Keep up the good work Steve.

    Re: The Star Treatment

I personally can't stand Star Jones, I think she is the most self centered person on the Class C celebrity list.  Why are we even talking about her????  The fact that she ripped off those young girls does not suprise me one bit.  I do however think that all her actions are effecting her so called career.  Please DO NOT EVER INVITE HER BACK TO DETROIT!
