    twankie36:

That's not what I said. The original question was should he resign? The answer was No. He has not yet been convicted of a crime. And I also he should not give up and quit. Now if the people get together and vote him out because they don't feel he's a positive leader then there it is. But I don't care what the situation is you never quit, you just keep pressin on. Now when a new leader has been appointed, then that means you are no longer qualified for the job. But you never quit!!!!

In a case where quitting is in the best interest of the city you proclaim to love.......then quit. When you stay just to hang on to the power trip your on, the open city $'s you can get your hands on....Yes, QUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I keep thinking about that young lady at a city council meeting that said, Pharoh, let your people go. He is draging this out because he doesn't care how many people are hurt by this...........only his hold on the power wagon.

Yes Twankie36 Kwame Kilpatrick should resign!!! Just because he hasn't been convicted yet doesn't mean he should continue to stay in office and live the high life on the taxpayer's expense. Do you like the fact that he has cost the city so much money? Do you like the fact that city services have suffered because he has cut so many jobs? What about closing the Belle Isle Aquarium because there was no money to fund it? (Even though outsiders were willing to fund its operation.) Kwame has brought this city down on so many levels and you honestly think he should stay in office????

I don't. I wish he would man up and do the right thing but it's obvious to me and many others that he will have to be dragged out of office kicking and screaming. He's a spoiled brat that didn't have any morals or integrity instilled within his character!! He needs to accept responsibility for his actions and go!!!!!!!

get real, actually I take little pride in "winning", I take more pride in educating people and making clear to people that this is NOT about an affair, or a non-public situation. This is the Mayor of Detroit, using his office for criminal conduct. My pride resides in the fact that I have constantly argued the fact that "WE THE PEOPLE" have the power to right certain wrongs. We the People, when we use our voice WILL be heard!!!!

I gain no satisfaction for seeing criminals go to prison, other than the satisfaction that this legal system(the United States of America) does work, and while it is much slower than most of us would like, keep the faith and keep fighting for what is right, those are the things that built America!!!

When I look at the amount of posts that some of on here have 400 or more it just allows me to know that some of has nothing better to do but sit around and knock other's down. But for real while we're wishing the worst for KK, why don't we all get together and take our city back from BS politicians, guns and violence, homelessness, school dropouts. Hell we can definitely do something about it instead complaining
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=u5ALKAaa-TU,
Good evening Mr. Twankie36,  I believe I have found the inspiration of your inspiring prose.  I listened intently to the coverage today and at no time did I ever hear the topic of sin come up.  Perhaps you are on the wrong forum.  In fact I made it a point of listening very closely to the mayors comments upon finding out his fate and at no time did he launch into any sort of religious diatribe or portraying himself as some newly created disciple.  In fact,  I found that his present counsel performed magnificently as the ventriloquist and kwame as the six foot four Charlie McCarthy,  Webb even had the voice down perfectly. I think you would agree with me on that;-)  I took this omission that the mayor has lost faith with not only his supporters, but his church and ultimately...  what do you think?  I could go on and on but what I would really like is to hear from you personally, I hope it is not too late for you or past your bed time.  Why don't you heat up some water on the stove, just like me and kick back to some fine coffee and some Entemanns bake goods.  I know thats what I'll be doing and look forward to your dyslexic dialogue.  Respectfully, MisterBluebird
