HIP HOP KILPATRICK - CITY - LOSERS, RESIGN NOW

    FYI...........
the verdict in the whistle blower case against the city and the mayor - shows the cesspool of corruption in the Detroit political leadership from the mayor, city council to school board continues - starting with Coleman Young and continuing today.
Detroit needs new political leadership ...now...and a new police chief not tied to the mayor...residents, visitors and Detroit police officers need to know that the Police Department is led by executives who make the best decisions to protect them - not political decisions.

Kwame needs to hip hop his ass outta office. I can't speak on the majority of city council but my wife ran into Martha Reeves at an airport and all Martha could talk about was how SHARP Kwame looked in a suit. Stupid is as stupid does.

I totally agree with you, Mr. Malhalab.  It seems that FINALLY the people are sick and tired of the corruption and his ignorant attitude (remember the red SUV?).  Coleman Young ran the city into the dirt and now we have another Coldman Young in office who definitely needs to GO!  The people need to recall him and boot his "bootie" out of Detroit completely.  He's a liar, cheat, thief and a nothing!

PS:  We also need to put term limits on the City Council.  Detroit is going to continue to be nothing "zero" as long as the blacks keep on killing their own people.  No wonder, look who their so called leader is!  Kick his ASS OUT!

    I am curious, Gliddet

Is there any reason why a person would change their mind about this mayor?  The only thing that I can think of that would be different months later, is maybe shock that the maya has not resigned.

Or maybe since it has been turned over to the courts, "due process" gets to be the determining factor. For all the pomp, and circumstance that people claim "This Is America." Why does the Judicial System get to work for a "chosen few". Don't the Constitutional Rights apply to everybody who is an American Citizen, (even if they are a politician). I mean if the laws that govern us are good enough to sentence Murderer's, Rapist's, and Abusers of Women, and Children surely we have the faith that it can work against a dirty politician.

Police officers, public officials, even corporate personnel ,who, by the power they are able to wield in their position, can effect the possible outcomes of criminal prosecution or taint public opinion on such matters, are routinely removed from their positions.  They are put on either paid or unpaid leaves of absence.  Actually in many corporate situations, even such simple things as corporate theft, a person is just plain discharged, prior to their "day in court".   Possibly able to sue for reinstatement if they are found not guilty....but that is a big "if".

Re: HIP HOP KILPATRICK - CITY - LOSERS, RESIGN NOW

I don't normally get involved or reply on-line...and I try very hard not to "curse"

But you really make your point and I very much agree!!!!

(I live in a suburb now...for the past 15 years...But I've lived in the city for all the preceding years and have great memories...but the horrible memories and the crime...made me leave...although...last week...someone smashed my car window out right in my driveway- here in the "burbs"!!!!!!)

We need to have a "hub" city that is confident and with crime enforcement people can believe in- someone with "balls"!!!!! Not lips!!!! (Love that-thanks!)

I've read all of the articles, listened to the news and frankly enough is enough.  I don't side with the Mayor at all but at the same time I feel the people making the comments are so cruel.  We know what he has done, enough already.  A decent human would feel sorry for him, all you have to do is look at him on your TV and see the toll this is taking on him daily.  Yes he's a fighter, he know fully well he's wrong but what is the enjoyment in beating a man. Take the measure to remove him and let it be.  Why we have to smear it all over the media is beside me.  Why not spend some time airing the good things these Dr. and Nurses do in our medical field today, guess not that doesn't sell.

No it does not sell in the proper quanities, so human interest stories are pushed by the wayside unless it is a very slow news day. And as far as the cruelty factor of some of the poster's isn't it obvious. With some it just plain jealousy, how could a punk like him be where he is and do the things he has done. With some it's plain prejudice, how can this darkie (for lack of the word) get away with all of what he has gotten away with so far. With some it's just plain amazement, who would have believed that this man would have ever attempted the things that he has done.

I am with you enough is enough. Kilpatrick is in the eye of the Country, not just this City. And the sooner he has his day in Court the better. I don't feel sorry for him none in the least. And I am hoping that every Judge that he goes before will administer the most severe punishment possible for the crimes he has committed. Right is right, and wrong is wrong and the guilty must suffer the consequences for their actions.

Re: HIP HOP KILPATRICK - CITY - LOSERS, RESIGN NOW

The Mayor, professed his love for his wife and family, but had a mistress and numerous

call girls at his disposal.  He professes his love for Detroit, but everytime he opens his mouth

more sludge comes out.  The right thing for him to do, would be to resign, but his arrogance

will not allow that to happen.  The losers in this debate is the people of Detroit and Michigan.

We all suffer as his stories continue to unfold.       Thank you   jovris

this is strong but true and very sad...but that N----- word that was buried and hopefully forgotten has been dug up by Kwame and his many and varied antics! Shame on him as he is no example for black people or anyone else!  And his arrogance and smug attitude dug and dug and finally  brought back up something that should have stayed buried.  How tragic.  But how true like it or not!!! His supporters with blinders are not doing anything to make it better.   They let him do this with  their support and by turning their  heads and nodding in agreement with his lies.  How utterly disgusting! Jail is way too good for him......

Let me start out by saying in no way am I attempting to condone, or approve of what Kilpatrick has done outside of the law since being in office. And again you ARE entitled to your opinion about the circumstance. But if you think Kilpatrick is the ONLY politician doing the people who elected them wrong, you need a reality check. Hind sight will always be 20/20. Anyone can have any comment they want after the fact.

I am almost positive you know someone right now this very minute that YOU associate with on a regular basis that is questionable in character. And if you don't, it might just be you. You may feel that your comments are cutting edge. Or they reflect the views of many. As it stands the comments you make are just your's. So before you assasinate an entire race for what one individual has done. Check yourself and how you live your life. Are you really living your life the right way ?? Or are you just an offense away from being John Six Pack ??

Re: HIP HOP KILPATRICK - CITY - LOSERS, RESIGN NOW

There is a lot of things and people wrong in the City of Detroit, I think we have picked on Kilpatrick long enough, he is young and bound to make some mistakes. But he has done a lot for the City! Stop picking on him we did vote him to the office so let it play out. This last did he break his bond , I watched the hearing on T.V. and she clearly said she would not order him not to speak to his family, it is a very sad day when a son can not visit with his mother, unless his mother calls the family members and tells them they have to stay away. I am a white 75 year old mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and I would never want to have to tell one of mine you can't visit because this one is here, get real what is he going to say to his sister that could effect the case after all she is his sister and chaseing  Mayor Kilpatrick around every where he goes is a bit unfair. We have to endure all this talk because some one else wants to be Mayor, but was did not run for the office because they did not think they could WIN. If Mayor Kilpatrick was my son we would have a good talk, on I raised you to think before you speak, or act but he is not as bad as the news trys to make him out, Don't think a man should cheat on his wife ------but then thats for his wife to deal with---Hilary did just fine, and Edward wife got on with it, why do we in the City of Detroit think we have to make such a big deal and punish him isn't this up to his wife alone?
