I absolutely agree.  And quit with all this praying talk.  They should have prayed for the strength to resist temptation before they embarked on an affair that damaged so many lives and cost the city so much money and shame.

CB was into this just as much as he was, she knew everything she was doing was wrong, she was living the high life just as much as KK, she was cheating the taxpayers and was in on just as many things as KK.  They only thing I can say that she did right was to resign.  That is the only thing.

...and thank god for Kym Worthy coming through when we needed it most.  Now that we know Kwame & Beatty will get their just desserts for this whole mess,  has anyone given thought to whom will be the next mayor, and will city council  react.  Do these people realize that this is the city's last chance to turn things around.  Mrs.  Worthy has taken us several steps forward,  please lets not lose the momentum!!
I suggest that the best thing city council can do in light of all the information that has been presented is............get in line behind the mayor and resign.......cause all you numbnutz allowed Kwame to settle a 6.5 million dollar lawsuit for 9 million. Plus you all were elected primarily on name recognition anyways and you are all still trying to keep the number of city workers and administrators at a level compatible with a city of 2 million when you jugheads only have a city of 900,000.

The population is 800,000. The citizens didn't have anything to do with the settlement. It was obviously done by the City's attorneys, Kwame and Stephani. So, please don't blame us for that. As for electing this Fool for a second term - the election results have always been in question. Lots of funny stuff occurred that night. I don't know many residents that admit that they voted for him the second time - especially now. Elections are won all over the country by name recognition, which is sad no matter where it occurs. But you're right administratively Detroit is still structured as if the population of 2 million.
Yaaaaaay! One out of five right. That's way more accurate than most of my posts. I wasn't blaming "us" for the settlement. I was blaming city council for approving it. I'm part of us. I am one of the 800,000.

Didn't see either of them today did we?? Are you still doing the happy dance Gene?? I am!!!!  :o)

McFailure was on 760 am with Mitch Albom, she was clasic, even went so far to  call him a king, when Mitch asked are you saying he is a king? She said that's not what I said, but if you compare .................I was laughing all the way home.  Mitch was all over her.

I can't believe she actually referred to him as a KING?? I, like you would have been LMAO!! I was wondering where she was today.

I'm with you on the Kobble heads, I wish Miserbluebird would sign on. I don't have the strength for them.  However, he is always very good with them.

I actually listened to it again, and he goaded her into it, but it was still great on Mitch's part.

Thanks for the link Just Amazed. I just listened to it. I can't believe that she still says "they still don't have anything,"  and "it's a media inspired conspiracy."  Unbelieveable. And that she makes the point again that the "perjury" was in a civil case. So what!! Perjury is lying. It shouldn't matter if it was a civil or criminal case.  It's because they chose to lie under oath in a civil case that they are both facing criminal charges.

It is amazing, how long can there thinking go on like this,  I also liked it when she said nobody helped when she was on council and had to sit there with those crooks.  Is this about her?   But honestly Mitch was right on her.  And that is exactly what needs to be done.

We can add her to the knobbleheads

Good evening justamazed:  Were you referring to a specific kobblehead here or sharons appearance on the mitch albom show. If its a kobblehead here in the forum, could you give me the reply number or tell me the user name and i can accomodate them?  In the meantime ,I'll see if i can conjure up the mitch albom interview.  thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info Indy, I'l check it out, am listening to mcphail right now in the background, i'm getting inspired.  Lets see if I can unleash some cryptic "vitriol" .

I'm sorry but Kwame should have been praying to God for some eyeglasses. I'd need 3 bags to have sex with Beatty. One to put on her face, one to put over my face and a spare just in case one bag breaks.

    LA Keen:

    jpage80:
This is some BS. Kwame has done a great deal of good fpr Detroit, and he is getting judged on getting some sex on the side and illegal text messages. How have the text messages hendered his ability to run the city? Last I checked he has done more than any mayor prior to him. Quit letting the media create your opinions, and let his work speak for its self! Let my people go!!!
The media hasn't created my opinion!!! I have done that on my own, because I choose to be a well informed citizen about a city that I love. How many times do people have to hear that IT'S NOT ABOUT HIS AFFAIR!!! HE LIED UNDER OATH;    DO YOU SWEAR TO TELL THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH.  His ability to run the city went out the window along time ago when he decided to lye, cheat and steal from the city and it's citizens. He hasn't shown me any work he's done. Everything he takes credit for was all in the works before he became mayor. Yes, let the people of Detroit go KWAME!!! We all deserve better leadership.

I, for one am not influenced by the opinions of others, I speak my mind and keep my eyes open to whats going on around me. May I suggest that you do the same. Read the papers, watch the news  and stop blaming the media for the scandal that Kwame Kilpatrick, Christine Beatty, and I'm sure many more yet un-named individuals have brought upon this city.

What do you mean by illegal text messages.  Do you mean that kk and cb were doing illegal text messages. Or was it illegal to text message them?  The text messages are illegal?  Is this the real world?  I don't understand how a text message is illegal.  Did the text messages commit a crime?
Way to go Just Amazed!!! jpage80 probably gets their "real news" from the Enquirer and the Star too....

. . . .I noticed that Kym Worthy had two homicide attorneys on her procecuting team.  I wonder why?  Is there  a lawyer that can tell us if this might have anything to do with Tamara Green's murder?
