...and thank god for Kym Worthy coming through when we needed it most.  Now that we know Kwame & Beatty will get their just desserts for this whole mess,  has anyone given thought to whom will be the next mayor, and will city council  react.  Do these people realize that this is the city's last chance to turn things around.  Mrs.  Worthy has taken us several steps forward,  please lets not lose the momentum!!
I suggest that the best thing city council can do in light of all the information that has been presented is............get in line behind the mayor and resign.......cause all you numbnutz allowed Kwame to settle a 6.5 million dollar lawsuit for 9 million. Plus you all were elected primarily on name recognition anyways and you are all still trying to keep the number of city workers and administrators at a level compatible with a city of 2 million when you jugheads only have a city of 900,000.

The population is 800,000. The citizens didn't have anything to do with the settlement. It was obviously done by the City's attorneys, Kwame and Stephani. So, please don't blame us for that. As for electing this Fool for a second term - the election results have always been in question. Lots of funny stuff occurred that night. I don't know many residents that admit that they voted for him the second time - especially now. Elections are won all over the country by name recognition, which is sad no matter where it occurs. But you're right administratively Detroit is still structured as if the population of 2 million.
Yaaaaaay! One out of five right. That's way more accurate than most of my posts. I wasn't blaming "us" for the settlement. I was blaming city council for approving it. I'm part of us. I am one of the 800,000.
Whoops. Didn't sound like you, taxpayer sorry. Didn't see the City Council when I read it. But they were really mislead too.

...which is all the more reason why they need to line up and resign as taxpayer suggested.  Let's see...they're asking for 6.5 million and you want us to settle for 9 million...is that right Mr. Mayor??  Ok sure...whats another 2.5 million...no biggie!   ??????  They had their head squarely planted up their @$$ on that one!!!

WELL IT'S ALMOST Mc FAILURE'S TIME SHORTLY    MAYBE her AND bully CAN COME TOGETHER,,,,,, CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THERE MUG SHOTS....
Didn't see either of them today did we?? Are you still doing the happy dance Gene?? I am!!!!  :o)

McFailure was on 760 am with Mitch Albom, she was clasic, even went so far to  call him a king, when Mitch asked are you saying he is a king? She said that's not what I said, but if you compare .................I was laughing all the way home.  Mitch was all over her.

    http://wjr.com/Article.asp?id=629701&spid=6553

The "King" comment comes at about 15:05 in the interview.  Listen until the end, though.  Sharon starts sounding a little "gangsta" like Kwame does when he's trying to "talk to the people."

    Re: Mayor's Scandal: Prosecutor's Decision

Did Mr. Webb say today at the Mayor's press conference that "this is the only time that I will speak publicly about the charges and the only time that the Mayor will speak publicly about the charges"?  If I heard him correctly and he actually said that, then why was he just on Fox News doing and interview with Greta Van Sustern about the charges?

. . . .I noticed that Kym Worthy had two homicide attorneys on her procecuting team.  I wonder why?  Is there  a lawyer that can tell us if this might have anything to do with Tamara Green's murder?
Homicide/Major Crime attorneys have the most trial experience.

He said he would be speaking to the press for the next couple days. Not a quote, but you get the idea.

They have been comic relief for years, well at least as many years that I've been following them. Even during the Coleman years they were impotent.

    Breaking news

    AP: Detroit

While filming the tv program "let it Rip" Huel Perkins pressed a secret button under his chair which sent 40,000 volts of electricity through Sharon Mcphails chair, killing her instantly. When asked about the secret electrical device Huel stated. "It's not secret, its confidential".

    Re: Mc Phail

I think Let it Rip was pretty damned funny.

Sharon got called out a lot and has shown she's just as delusional as kk.

She emphatically stated he's a good mayor and she wouldn't want the job of running Detroit.  Huh?  Then why did you run for Mayor twice???

That was Sam Riddle, I really took offense to her questioning his education, What a Bit*h.  He has been on there several times.  He previously worked for Monica Conyers, but recently resigned
