Today Kwame missed court - wasn't even in the state.  Yes, I just read that Judge Giles gave his attorneys a "tongue lashing", but had that been my son, or your son, a bench warrant would have been issued within FIVE minutes.  If fact, when my son was in court for a traffic violation, his attorney didn't arrive in time.  My son went out into the hallway to look for him, and during that time his name was called.  Because he didn't answer (being out in the hall) a bench warrant was issued on the spot and it took the entire remainder of the day to void it out and convince the judge that he was there as ordered.   Also......there is NOTHING fair about waiting until September for Kwame's preliminary hearing.  Believe me, Executive Privilege is raining and reigning ALL OVER THE PLACE.!!!!!

It's a darn shame that Judge Giles was not removed from the case.  Kwame is running things in Giles courtroom. What a joke Giles looks like now.

I'm curious about something...why is this jacka** still walking the streets????  If you and I had not shown up in court today....we'd be sitting in a jail cell tonight!!!  His attorneys couldn't/wouldn't give a reason for his trip to Texas?????  Hmmmm....is he in Texas???  If he's there on City business...doesn't the people of Detroit have the RIGHT to know what he's doing there...I'm sure the people are paying for that idiot's expenses!!!!  Can somebody please explain why his bail or whatever it is that is keeping him out of jail, hasn't been revoked??????????

Based on the rulings from this Court there is a clear partiality in favor of the Mayor. How many people accused of 8 felonies for extreme dishonesty and abuse of public trust, i.e. perjury, official misconduct, etc... are allowed to travel anywhere in the world on nothing more than their worthless word?
How many accused felons are allowed to refuse to pay for their paperwork, then have it ordered given to them and rewarded with an extra three months to prepare??
How many accused felons can repeatedly skip court appearances without consequences??? (I thought Judge Giles sounded upset. But, instead of contempt or ordering the Mayor back or any other consequences of any kind, rewarded him with a vacation in Florida!)
It seems the Mayor thinks of this Court as nothing more than another one of his Beatty's. And, this Court rules exactly as if that is all they are!

   And yet, he's the one on trial. So the process doesn't happen like a television program. Real life operates a little differently from fiction. So unless you will be content with a wait and see attitude. This is going to be a long hot summer for you.

Actually, I am starting to feel on trial.  I like what I am reading here.  It's all a con to "reelect" do nothing, lame duck politicians.  It's was a farce to believe that Defendant Kilpatrick would do better in his second term than his first.  It is now common knowledge that a this Mayor and Governor showed us their rass the first election and asked us to kiss it on the second.  I am thoroughly disgusted with Michigan's electorate.  I am thoroughly disgusted with Michigan's jurists. 

Judge Giles is going to rule in this Defendant's favor each and every time.  He is going to walk and the "Feds" that everyone is waiting to ride in on a white horse is nonexistant.  No one cares what happens in Michigan because Michigan does not provide any positive assets to the Nation.  No tax base, no property tax value, no intelligent contributions.  The Big Three has pulled down the nation's GDP, the foreclosure crisis has lead the nation's decline in property values.  The school system has proven that we cannot educate and provide any real value in future leadership.  The former mayor (IMHO) of Detroit has further plunged the region in decline so much that Detroiters are now regarded and nimble-brained, uncouth and unscrupulous as he is. 

Michigan is in a bad position now, and as a current expat living in DC for work, and in Detroit during time off and summers, I can tell you first hand, no one knows of the plight in Michigan and no one cares.  When it comes up in professional and person discussion, I find that people glaze over when they talk about how "stupid" our Mayor is. 

I end this manifesto with my hopes that at some point this nightmare will end.  Our town will never rise from this fiasco until it is over, it is history and there is new leadership and my fear is that will be several years from now.  But, I don't think Michigan can wait, I know Detroit won't last that long without some kind of catastrophic negative impact.

And that is exactly why KK is going to walk freely after the trial.  He OWNS those 36th District Judges!  Without his judge 'friends' presiding over the case, kk knows he'll have a tough time beating the rap.  Why do you think he's fighting so hard to keep a visiting judge from taking over?  It's disgusting what he is allowed to get away with!

Giles could care less what anyone else thinks of him! 

 Heard the latest?  Now hizzhoner's office is blasting City Council for violating the charter.  They claim that the resolution to Granholm to remove Kwame must be submitted to the Mayor for him to either accept, reject, or veto!  (They cannot send it directly to Granholm!)  WHAT A JOKE!!!   Are these people crazy????  Oh, and yeah, the Mayor has 7 days before he has to return his decision to Council.  Kwame must really believe that he is God!

The 36th District Court stinks lead by Chief Judge Adkins.  What a joke that 36th district court is!  Hahaha  God help the poor citizens that have to go before the judges in this court - they are a joke!

I can't get our last forum open, City council to oust mayor I went to change view tab and changed I think to flat and the screen is almost blank and I can't get backto the view tab. Is something wrong here? Kathy

I HINK SHE IS A EMBARASSMENT TO THE CITY OF DETROIT ALONG WITH THE MAYOR THEY BOTH MAKE ME ANGRY FOR THE SHAME THEY BRING TO OUR CITY

 If KK cares so much about the city, he would swallow his pride and resign. The city needs a leader who will lead by example. All KK's examples are felonious. If it were you or I who committed perjury, we would be charged. If we were not at a scheduled court hearing we would have a warrant issued. This angers me because this represents that laws are made to be broken. It's those who can and those who cant. I dont feel because he is the mayor he should get special treatment. As for the city,yes he may have followed through on alot of accomplishments for the city but he broke the law, he broke the trust of the people who he claims he working for. He let his "gangsta" mentality get in the way of his leadership. It's sad because he did put into play alot of things for the city, BUT when you are placed in a position of power and leadership, especially being african amerincan, you are under the microscope. I feel he let the city down.What he failed to realize is that, "what's done in the dark will come to light" and god does not like ugly, and is not to fond of the cute either! God says you will reap what you sew, and he's reaping it. I feel now that he is just trying to pull rank, and being stubborn. All the actions of a selfish person. He's caught up and just should step down. Corruption in our politics is the very reason why our country is in the shape it is in now. That money(8.4 million) the city had to pay for his(KK) unethical, criminal actions could have saved several citizens homes, housed alot of the city's homeless people (including our veterans) ect....  KK do the right thing and resign. For every action there is a reaction! Resign!Resign!

When in the world will the movers and shakers of Southeast Michigan admit that KK is nothing more than a bum, a bully, a liar, a double talker and detrimental to the positive development of Michigan.  NO CREDIBLE POLITICAL CANDIDATE WILL BE SEEN WITH HIM! WHAT STATEMENT DOES THAT MAKE!  It's time for KK to "man up" and walk away.
