I don't understand why the Mayor and his few supporters are allowed to run the City like mob bosses.  Do they not understand that they are paid employees, on their employer's time, using city-paid cell phones and that makes what is said on the cell phones public, not private.  KK's attorney said that those text messages were private?  What part of "public employee" doesn't he understand.  I work in a law firm and know that if I do something on my employer's computer during paid time, it better be work related and that the computer and everything on it belongs to my employer.  Mayor K is being paid to run the city, not play cutesy with his fellow city employees, and I resent the hell out of continuing to pay his salary when a good deal of his time is spent in defense of the charges.  Enough.  Trust and respect between the Council and the Mayor have been destroyed, and the city can't operate efficiently without it.  Step down!!  What makes this all even worse is that Detroit's budget is in bad shape.  It wouldn't be as bad if KK hadn't squandered $8.4 million plus attorney fees on his personal crap.  He should have manned up and told Carlita what he'd been up to with Beatty, and that would have been the end of it.

The Mayor and the entire city council should be removed.  What is happening to Detroit is a total disgrace to the entire country.  The council is as much guilty for what is happening as is the Mayor.  What are they there for??  Eliminate the council if this is what they stand for.  And Detroit wants people to come to the City.  What a joke.  Someone better get their senses about them and take control.  But when every one is on the Mayor's payroll what do we expect.  That is what the impression Detroit is giving the the Country.

You'll see that most politicians resign when they've caused great harm to their electorate, and do so sometimes even when it only appears that they've done so.  They typically do it to spare further harm to that level of government, to their families, or just out of a sense that their reputation has been ruined to such an extent that they no longer command the respect of their citizenry, subordinates or other branches of government.

And who's fault is that??  We, the citizens, are at fault!  We, do not demand accountability!  We, allow corruption and cronyism to exist, right in our faces and do nothing about it!  We vote by race and name recognition instead of credibility!  I'm proud of those Detroiter's who are finally standing up for themselves and speaking out!  It's about time!!

Again I say I would never condone, or affirm the actions of our current Mayor. But, no matter what anyone thinks he is entitled to his day, or days in court. And if the individuals keep coming up with more charges, sorry to say he gets more court dates to defend his position.

You must understand that Ms. Conyers is acting out because she is (at last) at the forefront of the news.  Our despicable newscasters on WXYZ have decided to character assassin our Mayor to the point that he gets booed in his own city trying to offer red wings fans some free beer.  Had I been the Mayor, and had I received those boos, I would have grabbed that mic and said "I was going to give you all some free beer, but since you have joined the Detroit Media in character assassinating me, you can all go thirsty"....  And dont tell me Im wrong either.  Just because you all choose to believe the media, and try the Mayor before he even gets to see a judge, does not mean we all agree with it, or that it is RIGHT. 

   The only thing that we have to understand is that Ms. Conyers is a girlrilla, a she thug if you will. I understand that her father was abusive to her mother. So she put a stop to it. But, we being the public she is supposed to be our champion, not our oppressor. She has plenty in her closet that's currently being let slowly, and progressively out. Stay tuned film at 11.
