Have anyone heard about if and when the layoffs will occur.  I was talking to a city worker yesterday and she seems to think that the layoffs will occur next week have anyone heard?

As I stated before we are not dealing with a person that acknowledge the law we are dealing with a thug so thru the eyes of a thug (black or white) this is the outcome.  They don't look at the Constitution that don't exist in their mind.  He don't include hisself as "We The People" because he thinks he is GOD.  He's in another equation.    I have said this before as well. The individual philosophies will ALWAYS be about the interpretation of it's host. HA HA HA Yes... let's talk about Coleman Young. He was the original thief of Detroit. Coleman Young is the one that put the nail in the coffin of Detroit by not thinking that it was important to have mass transportation. We do have the People Mover, LOL 200 Million that it cost BACK then to build... and the 12 Million a year it costs today to maintain. (It costs us $3.00 in addition to every .50 paid fare). Further ended the growth of Detroit by being arrogant enough to think that Detroit could sustain itself without the suburbs.

So we're not going to discuss a sitting U.S. Senator being indicted on felony charges...not being jailed...not being treated like a thug...not being verbally attacked by prosecution...there are many double standards regardless of race...more to the point of loyaties...money...intelligence or the lack of any of the above plays a significant role...I'm waiting for the prosecution to bring out the dog catcher and the candle stick maker...the prosecution can argue the law in court and honestly believe they are doing the right thing in securing a monitor on the Mayor of Detroit for his trip to the Democratic Convention, but its politics at ist worst and no one wins...nobody...its Ken Starr 15 minutes of fame...tax payer millions and individually after its all said, done and forgotten the only thing that many of these players will care about is the mortgage...if you look in the closets of many political players, whether its the court system...city politics, state or fed you could probably find enough to send this entire country into anarchy...I still support the mayor....humanity is fallible.

That is very true, i've also heard that if he stays in office his full eight years (which would be this coming Nov.) he gets to collect a six figure pension!! which is absolutly ridiculous!!! there is no way he should be allowed to collect a pension after what he's being aaccused of!! I just heard on the evening news that the Reverend is concerned about how the Mayor will provide for his family if he is ousted from the Mayoral office. A deal is possibly in the works to offer the "Mayor" months of paid living expenses (so he can pay his bills), among many other perks.

WHAT???  You're concerned about a CROOK who doesn't even deserve to be OUT OF JAIL ... much less to be GIVEN money to pay for his exorbitant lifestyle. LET HIM GET A JOB like everybody else.

I'm in the middle of a divorce, so I will soon be a single mother of two. I struggled to put myself through college.  I work full time. I even make cakes on the side to make extra money for me and my kids. I WILL BE LOSING MY JOB IN OCTOBER. I WILL HAVE NO HEALTH BENEFITS FOR ME ORI've probably submitted at least 70 resumes to jobs all over the Detroit Metro Area - most of which I am OVERQUALIFIED for ... and I've received no responses.

WHO IS GOING TO PROVIDE FOR ME AND MY FAMILY??  I didn't break the law - I haven't screwed THOUSANDS of people that I was put into office to HELP. I didn't cheat on my spouse, I didn't line my family's pockets by hiring friends and relatives to do shoddy work for twice the price of other reputable companies. THIS IS NOT FAIR.

We are tired of this drama ... and soooo sick of the idiots that can't find a REAL defense for this MORON, so they pull the old RACE card! That EXCUSE is soooooo old already.

If Kwame goes to jail he doesn't have to worry about supporting himself for a while.  Learn a trade in there Kwame!!   As to the wife and kids, they can sell assets, rely on Christian charity (that would be the concerned reverend that is speaking out on their behalf), or fall back on social services, just like many of Kwame's had to do!
