Wow!  I haven't seen so much hateful venom spit since being a young child in the 60s and being called, what is politically correct to be termed as, the "N" word by overt racists.  It truly sickened me to read some of these quotes.  I can see how and believe when Mayor Kilpatrick stated that he has never been called that name so much in his life and that he and his family had been receiving death threats after reading these. 

I pray that every news piece will not include another expense the mayor is making, being it public or private in nature.  To micromanage his private time with his family is utterly ridiculous and appears to be another beginning of a witch hunt by Mr. Wilson.  It seems as if he is saying that no other mayor or public official has ever had the ability to fly on private jets on their own private time, unless it was some unscrupulous dealing behind such.  To suggest that just because Mayor Kilpatrick and his family travelled via private jet means that he has another scandal unleasing is pure hogwash and prejudicial in nature!  The way the media has been in Mayor Kilpatrick and his family's lives, if I were the Mayor, I would get nothing less than a private jet to get away to have some quality time with my family.  The Mayor also has friends and supporters that would not mind footing the bill if he couldn't afford it when they see the witch hunt and public humiliation his family has to endure.  Friends do that with no expectation of future reward.  Every friend or supporter does not offer assistance or gifts just for bribery or favors from you later.

Steve Wilson should go and do the same to President George W. Bush and find out how many of our faithful citizens are being killed needlessly while serving in our military in Iraq.  That's a good story and person to head a witch hunt on.

You pray that every news report won't bring out another expense the mayor is making, does that concern you?  You wouldn.t know about the expenses the mayor has cost the city had it not been for the media.  The media that is doing their job.  KK continues to do wrong.  He has not stopped spending the money of the city, he has done many untoward things that now make him the object of the media.  It was through his own doings that everyone is watching every move he makes.  This goes back to the escalade and the $200,000 credut card expenses.  He should have stopped his bulls**t back then, and everyone would have left him alone to have quality time with his family.

Everything he does will be under the microscope now and he is the one that has caused it.  And yes we know the mayor has freinds and family that would love to support his private jet flings, that is because he has lined their pockets with unscrupulous dealings using the city's money whether it was in the form of a job on the city's dime or a contract. He has created a freinds and family network that is far reaching and yes we are just finding out about most of it through the media.

Everything you are saying in support of him has been proven otherwise.

I have been a long time channel 7 viewer. But I am not any more. Steve Wilson is nerve wreaking and these investigations are just down right nerve wreaking. I feel like there are so many more positve things that can be said the first 15minutes of the news instead of following around the Mayor, leave  the investigating to those who are trained to do so and stick to you news casting you are creating so much drama I can't wait until they start diggin up stuff about you Steve Wilson. Channel 4 only reports the facts!!! You need to take lessons BIG Steve.

Channel 4 has been in error.  It is only human to error.  It is the consistency of errors. Anyone pushing for the truth has to be annoying.  Had people exposed kk's behavior instead of looking the other way we would not currently have this MESS and we wouldn't need Steve.  You are sounding like kk.  Stop projecting the blame.  Steve is doing his job.  The truth is uncomfortable especially for people who have bought into the "kk Illusion."

I am astounded by the support the Mayor is still receiving from the people of Detroit.  I am wondering if it is due to the fact that he is an African American.   If the Mayor was a caucasian man who lied, cheated, stole, and disgraced the citizens of Detoit would he be still in office?  His blatant elitist and unethical lifestyle with no concern of impropriety or the image and well being of Detroit is hindering the city from moving in a positive direction.  Keep up the good work Steve-  everyone needs to wake up and smell the coffee.
