Hats off  to you!  This mayor is no more than an educated street thug holding office and with strong connections.  I do look forward to your reports, exposing the unethical behaviors from the mayor to many on the city payroll., including the Chief of Police.  I do not live in the city and am not a registered voter in the district, but I do however, believe we as patrons of the city, do have the right to voice our opinion.  As for my opinion, the mayor must go.  I am also very frustrated with the lack of concern for this matter by our governor.  I am a staunch democrate and strongly supported Ms. Granholm in her election and also  in her raising of taxes in the past. That was when I had confidence in her decisions and believed she had the state's well-being as her priority.  Now, I believe differently.

However, now as I watch much of these going ons unravel, I question her connection with the mayor, his mother, Cheeks and our Atty. General.  She, Gov. Granholm, has painted her own veil of suspicion with the deal she has underway for the State Police Barracks.  Any trust I still had with regard to her integrity,  is gone, now that I see she has no interest in getting the  mayor out of office. 

This is  difficult time for our state.  Jobs being taken away from the city, the price of gas going through the roof ...as if that isn't enough for the citizens of Detroit and the State of Mich to contend with.  There are honest business owners out there who are being subjected to rigged bidding and other unjustices that have become "The New Detroit".

Thank you for exposing these individuals for what they really are.  Just stay safe doing so.

I know that there is supposed to be a certain element of diplomacy when dealing with politicians, but this man is the lowest of the low. I know that media is trying to keep everyone apprised of the events unfolding, but it is so sickening wakening up to the news about him, day in and out. I don't like the hype, and all of the new players, such as the prosecutor's office and these ministers. Are you aware that generous grants are doled out to these pastors? Check that out. You will probably find that a lot of the NSO grants are given, year after year to places like Sheard;s church, Edgar Van's church, Nichol's church, well, you get the idea. Hey, that's another great story for ya! At any rate, back to the point. Stay on that crook. He is the greatest disappointment for black men. How can he stand up with a straight face with his sons looking on, and being privy to the discussions in that house? And his silly wife deserves everything she gets.

Steve Wilson is a man of integrity and "true grit".  His persistence and dilligence are commendable and admirable.   His  investigations are reminescent of the old-time private eyes.  His discoveries uncover the "tip of the iceberg" regarding the depth of the impropriety that is "every day business" in the City of Detroit.  His latest findings should be a wake-up call for the "providers" of the questionable "perks" also.

It should be noted that the public face of the mayor, under the direction and guidance of the newly hired damage-control PR firm, is evolving into a more soft spoken, cautious public figure.  He is a quick study ....however his prepping did not "prep" him for his initial reaction to Steve's first confrontation on the jet-setting.  It was "priceless"!    

MORE POWER TO YOU!!!!   I think you're doing a wonderful job!!!  Just when "he" thinks he's in the clear to some extent, you uncover yet another (shall we say) "matter".  Here he thought that if he made a few jokes (at his own expense) or seemed more "approachable" or "human" as to being "totally truthful" about his situation, that things might quiet down a bit.  Then you come along again regarding who is paying for his expenses (i.e. use of jets, attorney fees, spin-doctors) and why.  All he is doing by SEEMING more "human" or "approachable" is listening to those expensive spin-doctors & attorneys he has hired.  I guess he finally figured out that "his" way wasn't working & he might as well take their advice.  His way:  avoidance, bullying, denial and out & out lying.  Spin-doctors & attorneys ways:  approachable, some humor and attempts at the appearance of total honesty and thus, him being unjustly vilified.  Like I said, he finally figured out their way just might work better than his. You must really annoy him and his cronies.  But you know that all he would have to do is BE honest and open about his dealings and he would not have to worry about you or anyone else like you.  But being that he is not honest or open - you just keep on doing what you are doing and know that most of the people of this city and this state are behind you 100% and that your investigative work is totally appreciated!!!!!  ROCK-ON!!

I find it interesting when suburbs, who are in fact strongly supporting ALL city residents, find that the "crevice and alley" type, territorial attitudes still exist and in this matter, it is further underscored by the corruption leader himself, the King, who took advantage of this opportunity on TV and remains uncensored.   He violated his own philosophy which at the funeral last year was to have been the end of this.   But see?  Divide and conquer.  It's an old trick aggressive leaders have used since man walked.

I wish I could give an intelligent guess. This guy is so slimy and sloppy. I seem to get an ache in my stomach when I try to venture a guess as to how much monetary damage has been done under this crook. I wish he, and all under his administration, are suspended without pay, or fired. There does not seem to be any shred of truth that can come from any of this. It's almost like an Edward G. Robinson gangster movie. You always know that he gets killed in the end. I hate that we have to deal with mess like this. I have that resources have to be allocated to try to uncover the truth; I hate that the Council had to divert time to deal with this scum, only to find out that they have no power. This is such a mess.

Back to the jet. Don't know. Wouldn't surprise me though..........
