    INTEGRITY

I am NOT a builder, engineer or construction expert. I do know one thing tho. Once the INTEGRITY of a STRUCTURE is compromised, it is NO LONGER SAFE to reside in, or even be in, for any reason.

Now, letting logic play out. Once the INTEGRITY of an elected official is deemed unsatisfactory, it is not only the right of the people, but the JOB of the people to condem that person as UNFIT to lead.

This isnt about race, religion,or partisan politics. No, this is NOT about any of those things that are used to try to DEFLECT our attention. This is about INTEGRITY and MORALS, and even possible CRIMINAL CONDUCT.

The INTEGRITY has been compromised, its time to declare Kwame Kilpatrick as NO LONGER SAFE to lead!!!!

43 thousand dollars to fly momma and kids to Florida, A trip to Florida last year it cost me 270.00 both ways non stop to Tampa. I dont make 43 thousand in A year. I am sure it would cost more these days since everything has went up, but A commercial flight for 3 would more than likley cost a thousand or A little more. im not sure how much for first class, but im sure it wouldnt be 43 thousand. This mayor just doesnt care how he spends other peoples money, I thank you all for the boycott ford link, I used it. I continue to boycott Detroit. my little money will stay downriver, until this mayor is gone.

Can anyone tell me why this Mayor thinks that he doesn't have to answer for his actions? When he is asked (yes axed) a question about public funds, and the use of them by a PUBLIC SERVANT why does he think it is ok to ignore it?

Dancer's pastor says she felt threatened

Tamara Greene told man she called Dad that someone was 'out to get her' in 2002 meeting.

Mark Hicks / The Detroit News

DETROIT -- Former exotic dancer Tamara Greene confided in her pastor that she feared for her life some six months before her shooting death, he said Wednesday.

Pastor Ken Hampton of Detroit's Grace Bible Chapel said he told investigators in an affidavit given last week as part of a federal lawsuit filed by Greene's family against Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, the city of Detroit and other city officials, that Greene feared someone was "out to get" her.

"She said she really felt threatened," said Hampton, whom Greene affectionately called "Dad." "I just didn't know what was going on."

Shoot, We can get airline tickets to Florida for as low as $39.00 each way!! Who in the heck do they think they are? Royalty?

Kwame and family better book their next flight on Spirit Airlines or take the Greyhound bus!! It just may come to this when big daddy leaves the big house for the BIG HOUSE!!

If the airlines were wise, they could really use this incident as a marketing tool for inexpensive flights to Florida! Wouldn't it be hilarious if the Kilpatricks were offered the $39.00 ticets for free, and they refuse?

    Lord give me a break!

What would these attorneys have done if the city or the city council refused to pay the legal bills? If I was on the city council, I wouldn't pay another cent of the legal fees!! Make Kwame Kilpatrick pay for them. Let's see how long these high priced attorneys will stay on board!

I can't believe this lawsuit is approaching the 10 million dollar mark! And they're still piling up?

I did read earlier that all invoices under 25K don't require approval from the city council. Has anyone noticed how the majority of the invoices were under 25K? But when they're summed up, are in the hundreds of thousands of dollars?

I bet you the audits will reveal thousands of other invoices under 25K that are questionable. Who's to say a fictitious 24K invoice for job training wasn't spent for tuition for the Kilpatrick children or the downpayment for their Florida home?

    Corruption, corruption, corruption!!

Re: Steve Wilson Investigation into the Mayor's Expenses and Private Jets

I think Steve Wilson is doing a great job of exposing Detroit's Smooth Crimical, Kwame Kilpatrick. I don't understand how he can afford all of his legal expenses. Why hasn't the IRS looked into Kwame's spending habits. It is apparent he is spending more than his salary on vacations, legal fees, and spin machines. There are rumors in the city that he has given abandom homes to his friends free and clear. This isn't a rumor, it is a fact. It's apparent  Kwame has bought loyality and friendships all over the city including some members of the city counsel. The only way to get him out of office is to have an independent agent, such as the FBI or the IRS investigate him and spending habits. I am sure an IRS audit of Carlita and Kwame's income over the past ten years will reveal some more illegal activity.

If I remember correctly Kim Worthy backed off of Kwame during his first election. Kwame pointed out that Kim Worthy "didn't want to come up against him", then she backed down. It seem to me that he had something on her she didn't want the public to know. She won't be bringing charges against him this week. From all indications Kwame's entire M.O is making sure everyone around him is indebted to him or he knows their dirty little secrets.

"Pride is before the crash and a haughty sprit before stumbling"
