I think it was due to her being full of sh^t. If I fell twice at Cobo, I would think twice about going back a third time.

The district initially balked at the claim, but paid her $64,012, according to records obtained by The Detroit News through the Freedom of Information Act.
On Dec. 4, 2003, she slipped and fell while at a seminar in Cobo Center and damaged her right knee, according to the claims. Then on June 3, 2004, that knee gave out, causing her to fall and hurt her left knee. Then on June 24, 2004, she fell again, injuring both knees and tearing her rectum, according to the records.

I hope she moves to Texas after all this.

 

OMG, this is beyond weird.  And I question $64,000 ???? for wages ???????? even if she was out 1 year she was an attendance officer and substitute ????? how did they come up with that amount  ???

She walks just fine now - what a phoney!

 

I keep thinking about this, and have been scratching my head all day trying to figure out how the HE!! you get a tear in your rectum falling on your knees.  And now it just makes me laugh trying to figure it out.  My sister, who is quite a Klutz, falls all the time, its really embarrassing, but all the same we usually have a good laugh over some of her falls, well we have discussed this and we can not even come up with how she could have done this.  All the same It was another good laugh.

You know, I never really thought about how it could happen, but when you stop to think, it's hysterical!!!!!!!!!

Maybe Detroiters will finally stop blaming white flight and the suburbs for all the trouble in Detroit after these shootings. If this doesn’t wake them up to the Corruption in City Government, then there is NO HOPE. ZIP NA-DA…

Don’t they realize that they are in the shape there in now because all the money is spent on the Government and City council their friends and family play time.

I want Monica to do a long sentence but in reality, do any of you believe that she will get more than a slap on the wrist and some probation? I mean, look at friggin Kwame and Chrissy Beatty! They robbed the city of millions of dollars and all they got was a 90 day jail sentence and a job with Compuware. I hate to say it but I just don't see MonCon getting much time.
