Maybe this is a ploy.  How could he possibly be issuing all of these "new proclamations,  by order of the King" and yet be in his right mind?  A normal person, having been charged with felonies and having his corrupt form of government exposed more and more on a daily basis, would be at least contrite, right?  So, I think this bravado is a ploy.  Maybe they think (know) that this will go to trial, and their best bet is to have Kwame declared insane!  Then they will send him to a mental instituion, where he will come back cured!

 

One can't help but wonder where all this is going to lead to.  We all know he can't be cured.  I guess he wants us to continue to ride the roller coaster with him.  You think?

Tantra, I also responded to you earlier today with large print and bold color. I didn’t know it hurt your eyes or that it bothered you so much. I am sorry! I will refrain from the bold colors but I sometimes do use large print because it’s easy for me to find my post when I have missed a day or so and look back, Its also easier for me to proof read as I have poor eye sight. I will try and remember to use softer colors also because they help me for the same reason, and I think sometimes it looks nice and cheers this place up.

I have absolutely no problem with people using a larger font to make it easier for them to read, and the fonts you have chosen, never hurt my eyes. All I did was ask for the font to not be the largest possible, in bold in a color that literally hurt my eyes. That's all.

As far as the word "dish"... it has a very different meaning from "dis".

To dish would be like..."Informal Idle talk; gossip: "plenty of dish about her tattoos, her plastic surgeries, and her ever-younger inamorati"

I think I was the 2nd one awake and mentioned the brightness hurting my eyes soo early in the morning. Its not the large or bold print I guess, its the color Red. But I could read large red, better than small font red, like firevixen used to use all the time. But the dis,,,, dish talk is hard to take any time of day, and if you don't mind me asking "Now what the heck does inamorati mean"? LOL

Quite often you say things to the effect "You don't know me.  You don't know anything about me, etc."  So in this case, I say right back at ya.

My parents are both dead, but some of my fondest memories of my father are when people assumed he was either the gardner, a bum, or an ignorant immigrant.  He was none of those things, but due to the fact that he enjoyed gardening and was an immigrant, sometimes the mistake was understandable.  A very funny story was that one day a neighbor we did not know stopped to ask how much he charged to keep the yard up so nicely.  She wanted to hire him!  Instead of getting offended, he said he did not charge the lady of the house, as they had a special relationship-she let him sleep with her.  The neighbor drove off appalled.

The point, Tantrum, is don't judge.  Had my father really been the gardner,  I would have loved him no less, nor been less proud of him.

My issues with Gene are that he has no interest in participating in this board. He doesn't read and reply... he simply SCREAMS, irrational, redundant, crap. He is not someone that does research and posts informative information here. He doesn't pose questions that we can debate or converse about. He makes bigoted statements that he doesn't support or debate, he just makes them, and then repeats it.

We ALL make judgements of people each and everyday. I have no doubt that your father was a good man that took pride in his yard, in his wife and family, and he obviously raised a daughter with her own mind and a civic consciousness. This isn't about that at all. If we were not making judgemets of people... none of would be here, because the pretense of this message board is that ALL on it have made a judgement of KK and CB. Haven't we all, based on what we have heard, and read made a judgement of KK? His wife? His family? Of course we have.

I work with primarily indigent patients. Many of whom are substance abusers. I and my staff have to make instantaneous judgement calls to determine if they are a threat to the safety of the staff or other patients, and take immediate action.

The point is, Gene is about Gene. He is a grown man that was asked nicely to please change a font color. His response was to continue to do it, out of spite. For some reason, that seems to be ok with everyone. For the love of Pete, I simply made a small request because it litterally hurt to read it, and since it was SO large, and repeated so many times, it isn't like you can quickly pass it by.

As far as your calling names. I am fine with that, but have to tell you that I find name calling juvenile, and speaks directly to my issues with the board.

1. Gene can say anything, no matter how inaccurate, outrageous, bigotted, inflammatory it is.

2. Name calling is ok, as long as it is done by certain posters.

3. Name calling is NOT ok if it involved physical characteristics of KK or CB.

I have been out of high school a long time, it's hard to remember all of the nuances. :)

You may justify, rationalize and basically distort what ever you wish, Tantrum.  If you see no difference between a judgement made about Kwame and Christine based on their very personal public lives, and on a fellow forum member, maybe one of your co-workers could clarify it for you.  Let me give you a hint, however.  You don't even know what sex any of us are, let alone anything else about us.  Only what you gather from the various posts-and the things on the posts may or may not be true.  For you to decide anything based on that-well, lets just say it paints you as a little naive.  And then, from what you think you have discerned to go ahead and make value judgements?  Well, that takes you out of the naive category and thrusts you into the absurd category.
