Hi everyone! I've been really busy the past few days -- work and home. Thanks for your concern.

The "apology" that Kwame delivered just after his hiding period when the text messages were published, I've always thought could be woven into evidence of the affair and authenticity of the messages.

The problem is, that the "apology" was not specific to any issue. He never mentioned the text messages or the "alleged" affair. He was very careful not to admit to anything. Just that he had a difficult time in his personal life. Like who doesn't?

The weaving necessary would be difficult, because you could "loose" a juror in the process. But I think it's possible if done correctly.

As for the Court of Appeals -- the verdict is what I expected. Giles will only rule on a couple true "points of law" and they're going to be appealed by either side.

Giovan reversed Giles "secret hearing" which was a good sign.

Giles is in the hot seat, but he will never recuse himself as suggested earlier. Too late now to admit that mistake.

Today's hearing will be interesting.

Loved reading that now Collins wants to change her vote on the Tunnel sale. Okay Babs, too late. Do overs ended in elementary school. Imbecile doesn't even begin to describe. They walk among us ...

You are so right, kk apoligizes when he was busted by the texts, and now saying they are not real?   Then what the heck did he apoligize for?  That was an awful big media production he called when he went on in January, so why would you call all that and apoligize?  Wouldn't an innocent person just say they were not real, if they weren't? This whole mess is gotten so crazy that I know alot of people that think it is just crazy enough for him to come out smelling like a rose and not a pile of manure.

Does anyone know if we can watch this motion filed to surpress the text messages before the Judge Giles this moring?  I wonder if any of the tv station are on it?

Just heard that the hearing will be at 2:00 PM today.

Hi Laura I also feel Giles knows for sure now otlhers are watching.  I would not be surprised if some undiscovered information suddenly comes up for recusal.  I guess I would not have thoughts like this if he had recused himself when asked.  No legally thinking (ha-ha) I am sure he will follow this case through to the end justly and unbiased.

I haven't seen much of her lately. i hope her career isn't in the toilet due to simply being involved with someone associated with this mess. The Victims seem to be mounting up. Still haven't seen Steve Wilson. I am sure he is still on this though, maybe just stepped aside due to the Feds being involved.

I've always liked Debbie Schlussel and her commentary, but I would like to see this from one other source.  But when searching for Fanchon Stinger (poor girl -  I initially thought a "fanchon stinger" was some species of wasp), I found nothing other than what Debbie had said. 

Again, I like to see another source add to or concur with what Debbie had said.  In any event, I'm sorry to hear that she's hooked up with this guy and that she may have left her faith.

I LOVE Newt and was extremely disappointed when he decided not to run for President.

But boy, that video you cited brought up everything!  He really laid out Detroit's problems, and specifically the problem of the schools (their goal is wrong - instead of striving to educate students, they focus on passing out paychecks!).

I'm sure most of us have heard how whenever bad news is coming out about a politician, it is released on a Friday afternoon/evening.  Now here were are on a HOLIDAY weekend, with a hearing about these text messages.  I wonder if they ARE released whether KK will think everyone will just forget about them because of the fourth of July?
