Yes I think Flip Saunders should have been fired! Flip did not take charge, he was to concerned with the  minutes each player would play, when he should have been thinking about who is the best player to put in, who is not playing well, and who can help the team right now, not  playing starters just because they are starters.  If the starters are not playing well sit them on the bench.

Chauncey Billups is a master at attacking the paint and drawing a foul but for some reason will not take the ball in the paint until the Pistions have lost the game. He brings the ball down too slow,giving the opposing team all the time they need to set up there defense. They know that he is going to pull up right at the top of the arch every time. Rasheed Wallace is just plain lazy. has a bad attitude, he will not jump for a rebound and will not make a legitimate effort to move his feet to hustle  for a loose ball. He hurts the team with all those technicals, that stuff about thats just the way he is don't cut it , he has a responsibility to the team and the fans. Antonio played his heart out. Rip played very well and Prince I can not figure him out, somthing must be on his mind, some type of personal problem, because he has a very high basketball IQ  but he is not playing as smart as I think he can play. The team as a whole cry to the officials too much. Joe get rid of  Billups and Wallace and you will have a positive team that want to win a championship and not just draw a big pay check. Go Pistions!!!

Felling  bad cause we lost and we are the best in the east.

   Long overdue in my opinion. 2 years in a row Eastern Conference Final failure. In his maiden voyage we lost to the Cavaliers in the Semi's. He was handed a championship team on a silver platter. So what do we have to show for his being here. 3 straight years of what used to happen in Minnesota. Finally Joe Dumars awoke from his dream.

   For that matter Dumars has only been here since 2000. Grant Hill out, Ben Wallace, and Chucky Adkins in along with Rick Carlisle. Jerry Stackhouse out Richard Hamilton, Okur, Billups, and Prince in Carlisle out. Larry Brown in pick up Rasheed Wallace. Beat the Lakers in 5 for our 3rd Championship. Dumars 1st as an Exec. Following year Wallace/Artest debocleLose to the Spurs in 7. And somehow between games 6 and 7 the rumor is Larry Brown wants out of Detroit.

   So it's time for a fire sale. Joe was here when McCluskey pulled the trigger too soon on the Championship team so he has an idea of what NOT to do. But those players who do not want to be here. And those who feel their services are un-appreciated should hit the bricks. This next Coach has to be battle tested. Because I believe the Locker Room is about to go through some big chamges too. 

I love the Pistions I haved lived in detriot all my life until recently. I bought the nba package to watch them play because in Tennessee we hardly see them on T.V., and every time I watch a game he looks nervous like he has no clue as to what is going on. I never liked the guy. They just stopped playing defense, blowing leads, and stop getting rebounds. thats doesn't sound like the bad boys I know. He didn't give them that drive or the kick in the but like they needed. I watched Lindsey Hunter tell them to play defense in one game. That the coachs job.  Go get Avery Johnson!!!!!!

Yes, I am glad they fired Flip.  He just isn't a NBA finals coach.   We need to get rid of Rasheed also, he just doesn't have the heart anymore.

I never understood why Joe D. hired him in the 1st. place, in 10 seasons he only got the T-Wolves out of the 1st. round once and with all the success the bench had in the regular season he stopped playing them in the playoffs thats what got them 59 wins, also he doesnt adjust very well he always seem to get out coached at the worst time, in the conference finals.

Dear Aton. I think you have it all wrong. I think that Flip was fine and thay our players  are spoiled and get paid too much. If their pay decreased every year they didn't make it to the finals we would have at least 3 championships.
