    Re: Mayor's Scandal: Prosecutor's Decision

KK has held Detroit hostage for the last 9 months.  He is still only looking for what is in his own best interest and not what is in the interest of the citizens of this great city.  His selfishness has not only tarnished the image of the city but he has also caused a black eye upon the entire region.  If the prosecuter allows him plea and not allow a public court hearing, we as citizens would again be on the receiving end of a secret corrupt system that doles out unequal  justice for everyone else.  He still feels that he is priviledged, while having the adasity to continue making demands for a deal.  Did those cops he fired also have a right to make demands?  I don't think so.  Were they going to be allowed to provide for their famlies had they not brought to light what was going on in the dark? I don't think so.  I think he and Christine made their bed, so now they should have to lie in it. He has been charged with felonie, let it play out in court and allow the citizens to see that our justice system does indeed work.  miss berne

    Re: Mayor's Scandal: Prosecutor's Decision

All this thieving started in kk's first term. Give him nothing. What other person would get six month's of pay to support their family after stealing from your job. Most people would have been walked out the door by security before they could steal another dime. KK has been allowed to continue in his position for month's after all came to light. So he is still able to take what ever he want's from the city. I say to the preacher's who want to make sure kk has money to spend should reach into their bank account's and they can give kk the money themselves. After all some of that money was probably bilked from the city anyway. The court's don't reward criminals with a pay check. Felon's are left to get their own lives back once they are let out of jail. No one should treat YALL'S BOY like he is better then any other felon. He is ready to plead guilty to felonies. What more does it take? The only thing kk desrves is jail just like joe six pack.

    Re: Mayor's Scandal: Prosecutor's Decision

WHAT IS SOOOOOOO FUNNY IN COURT THAT HE CAN LAUGH?  HE HAS THOSE PUBLIC SMILES AND PRIVATE TEARS -- LOOKING AT THE MAN IN THE MIRROR AND WANTING TO CUT HIS THROAT IN PRIVATE! HE STILL SHOOK HIS HEAD TO TRY TO CONVINCE THE PUBLIC WHILE HE WAS IN COURT THIS MORNING THAT HE IS INNOCENT OF ANY PUSHING AND SHOVING JUST FOR SYMPATHY. DOES HE ACTUALLY THINK THAT NAMING THAT LAUNDRY LIST OF THINGS IS GOING TO MAKE THE CITY/PUBLIC FORGET HIS MISDEEDS AND DECEITFUL MISUSE OF POWER?  HE SAID "WHY DIDN'T SOMEONE TELL THIS BOY TO MAKE BETTER JUDGMENTS?"  KK IS SUPPOSE TO KNOW WHAT TO DO IF HE WAS TO LEAD THE CITY AND SHOULD BE MATURE ENOUGH TO USE GOOD JUDGEMENT.  SAD THAT HE IS BLAMING GOV. GRANHOLM INSTEAD OF HIMSELF.  HE STATED THAT HE AND HIS WIFE ARE CLOSER!  BUT HE TORE THE CITY APART!! THIS IS NOT THE END FOR HIS LEGAL, MARITAL OR MONETARY WOES.  HE WILL NEVER BE A FREE MAN!  ALL THE MONEY HE IS SPENDING AND BEING SUED FOR WILL NOT BUY HIS PARDON OR ANY INTEGRITY THE PEOPLE OF THE DETROIT THOUGHT HE HAD.

WHEN HE GETS IN JAIL, THEY WILL SAY BEND OVER SISTER BIG STUFF.
