Yes! It could have been outdated books, but outdated books are better than no books at all. Ray Sayah needed to emphasize this matter a little better on perhaps the school should make copies for homework assignments as a suggestion and ask the school board if they could find a way for the students to recieve copies until they find new books instead of letting these students fall behind. Just like Call Bill for action had a ederly couple that were disabled and relied on assistance. The wife has diabetes and they never said what was wrong with the husband only that he was disabled to.  Anyways with their last few dollars they scrounged for food was "Spam, White Bread and Pop". Breakfast of champions for diabetics. I think Bill should have went to Carolyn Clifford and asked for a Basic Food Group Chart and handed it over to this highly misinformed elderly couple and tell them you do not eat this crap that will make you more sick in the long run. I think their health could be whole lot better if they ate right. I could be wrong , but I don't think so . As reporters I think you should help the matter instead of reporting it and pointing fingers for ratings.
