For years smoking has been allowed everywhere! Us non-smokers had to deal with smokers at the same dinner table blowing smoke in our face as we try to eat ever since we were kids. This happens alot at restaurants and bar like places, bowling alleys and so on. Now from what your saying you feel smokers have more rights than  the "non-smokers". We non-smokers have tryed the non- smoking sections and the problems are they are not far enough away from the smokers. My family once ate at a bakers square and asked for non-smoking and they put us in a area by our selfs and yet employees came out to have thier break and wouldn't you know they all started to light up in the non- smoking area. The anger you feel are the same as we have been feeling for more years than you. I see it as non-smokers have tryed doing it your way for many years and it doesn't work. Let me ask you a question how many times have you asked people(like friends,co-workers) at you dinner table (home or out to dinner) if they mind if you smoke? Because your a smoker this may not work....however next time you go out to eat have your spouse blow smoke in your face as you eat and see if you enjoy it. We get it from people around us at different tables and we can smell it on you and your clothes. Look at ceilings in these places that brownish stains is nicotine.One last note as a non-smoker I feel you anger on this change and I didn't think it would ever get this far.
