It seems Kirkpatrick has paid for spin doctors to turn his situation around and now he may not even be charged by the City’s attorney. I feel Kirkpatrick have had his chances and it wasn’t just this text scandal incident.
His use of the church and the media spin doctors to change the public opinions still only reflex his mentality of thinking he is untouchable. Kirkpatrick should resign whether charges are bought or not.
As much as I like to see the city of Detroit (where I was born and grew up) turn itself around, I am now all for joining the Boycott on the City of Detroit as long as Kirkpatrick stays in office.
It seems that nobody else has the power to do anything to get the mayor to resign so the city can move on without him, so I see the boycott aimed at effecting Detroit’s economic is the best alternative for adding the necessary pressure for him to resign.
Personally I really hate to see Detroit suffer more but due to Kwane’s nobody can touch me attitude I am now currently on board for the boycott I have read about. It is aimed at all businesses even outside of Detroit to refrain from doing business with Detroit and for people of Detroit and any surrounding areas to boycott all sport turn outs. Including the beginning of the Tiger’s season.
So maybe even if the prosecutor doesn’t do what the majority of the people want, maybe the effects of the boycott over the next few months will impact the mayor and the influences him or the pressure from the business interests to resign and to move on.
