RV......CB's people need to keep a close eye on her.  We can see the depression on her face.  The bags under her eyes that are there every time she is on camera are from crying constantly. The worst I have seen her was in court the last time.  She looked like she was in pure misery just being alive.

    ************

Although I don't feel sympathy for her actions, my heart goes out to her as a human being who is suffering. Unless she is a wonderfull actress (and I don't discount that), she is in trouble healthwise in addtion to the legal woes.

Someone needs to slap that silly grin off of kk's face! He's going to be an unemployed,  convicted felon with jail time and fines and loss of license, and still he humiliates his wife and cb and spins to the people of the area. Why didn't they require a psychiatric evaluation of him (and treatement) before sentencing?

Cheryl, that grin is steming from something. Obviously he has nothing to worry about. ???Anyone else would be traumatized by losing their law license, owing a million dollars, going to prison, and one would think it would be killing him to know that his children are seeing this.  ???  There must be something big that we don't know about.....that is the only explanation.  Could it be alot of money put away that makes this a small pentance? His whole attitude in his exit speech was like....this hasn't phased me folks. I wonder if we will see this attitude when the feds finish their work?

Totally agree with you gr!  As someone here has posted, he has his Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C.  And maybe by now a Plan D.  I think he has so many things set up over the years, that he'll be getting 'kickbacks' for years and years to come!  Not to mention the thought that he already probably has tons of money stashed away overseas.  Look at how he managed to direct state funds to Carlita to run a program where she ended up getting most of the grant as her salary.  That was somewhere in the neighborhood of $174,000, if I remember correctly.  That money should have gone to help the people.  And it didn't....it went into their pocketbooks.  Keep in mind, too, that they haven't had to incur the 'normal' bills that the rest of us do.  For the past 6+ years, they have not had to worry about a morgtage payment, insurance, car payments, phone, electric, etc.  I would guess 99% of their clothing and entertainment were also provided by the city.  That means they pretty much banked his entire salary.

If I completely understand what others have been saying, then kk can change his mind about pleading guility when he's before the court on Oct 28th.  Is this true?  If so, then I wouldn't put it past him to either (1) not show up in court because he's already left the country, or (2) say he was 'pressured' into making that statement and has now recinded it.  Everything with him is either a stall, stall, spin, spin, or lie, lie.

Why is it that he doesn't have to be out of the Manoogian Mansion until close to the middle of November?  If he's suppose to go to jail on Oct. 28th, then I would think he and his family should be out of there before then!  I'm beginning to think that the jail term is not going to stick!  Personally I feel that once his resignation is complete, which should happen on Sept. 18th, then he and his family no longer have a right to stay there.  By then he will have had 2 weeks to have found a place and move.  The keys to the Manoogian Mansion should be handed over to Ken Cockrel by midnight on Sept. 18, 2008.  Period.

Cockel stated that he is not interested in moving into the mansion at this time for numerous reasons.  If they have a special election that would be ridiculous to uproot his family.  Haven't done much reading today so I am unaware of kk staying in the house until November.  It is always better to have someone living in the house than to leave it vacanted.  It could be that simple.

When you are dealing with Kwame Kilpatrick, NOTHING is simple!!

They should let him or his family stay as long as they like, as long as they charge a nice amount for rent!
