I can't find it on the channel 7 website but Erik Smith reported twice this morning that former mayor and currentn thug/criminal Kwame Kilpatrick was late paying his money to Detroit this month plus he was $3500 short.

Also of interest is the fact that Kwame requested that the court allow him to travel to Dubai and Iraq on alleged business with Covisant but the company claims they did not have any trip planned to those areas.

If you recall, Micheal Jackson left for Dubai in the midst of his pedophelia charges a few years back. Dubai is the Las Vegas of the middle east.

Sounds like Kwame is getting the travel bug and he was most likely going to tag along with momma on a couple political junkets. I find it hard to even imagine that a man of such high moral character would actually try to run off to a country with lax extradition rules.

There is an article about this on Freep.com. Shouldn't they be throwing him back in jail for parole violation? His restitution payment should be at the TOP of his budget plan, not the bottom. JMHO
