Avoid Water Bill Hike, Schedule an Upgrade
(WXYZ) - Detroit water customers are urged to schedule an appointment for a meter upgrade before they see a big jump in their bill. You have to sign up to have the new automated meter reading equipment installed. Detroit water customers will receive notices in the mail letting them know when technicians are working in their neighborhoods to install the new automatic meter readers. An appointment must be scheduled. Customers who do not schedule an appointment will be charged $30 each time the Water Department sends someone out to read the water meter. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-866-217-2359 or 313-372-2100 between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. |

I thought of Tax when I heard this also, just hope the recent work they did will cover this, If not I would be just alittle irate that I had the work done and NOW have to have it redone at the low cost of $30.00 per visit. And if he has to pay again I would be very verbal. Oh well, I am putting up a fight for you Tax, even before I know what may happen.
