Chief Investigator Steve Wilson has uncovered startling new information about the trip Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was planning to Hawaii. The mayor said he was going to a pension conference. Steve discovered he was actually going on vacation.

I think it is DISGUSTING that with all the problems our state and the city of Detroit are having right now, this loser thinks he has the right to screw everyone so much! 
Money is tight everywhere, and he thinks he can blow thousands of hard earned dollars on his vacations?
I wish someone would fund a vaction like that for me so I can pretend to go to a conference.

Does this surprise anyone?  Are you kidding me?  How could he even think of spending the taxpayer's money on himself?  How can he look at the little kid in a rundown school that doesn't have enough teachers, pathetic conditions, not enough books/paper to learn and say "hey kid, I just booked a vacation with the wife with the money I could have sent to you to educate you properly ! ".

He is NO DIFFERENT than the rest of the garbage who run that city -- and he knows it.  No wonder people are "labeled and typecast" -- they are all criminals at heart.

Come on taximom...... The mayor of Detroit is entitled to a vacation.  And should the city pay for his vacation time?  You bet!  And he is not taking anything from the school budget to take his vacation.   I actually  think it would be cheaper for the  mayor to get that vacation in while he is at some seminar  in Hawaii.  He does not have to be at every meeting.... so do you think it would be better for Mr Mayor to fly to Hawaii twice.  he would of had to if he wanted to vacation there after he got home from the seminar.  He was gonna bring the Lady along to save on travel time and air fare.  Makes sense to me.

Mayor Kilpatrick and his family are losers.They are dishonest and take advantage of those around them,I can't believe the citizens of Detroit voted him back in office
